Manufacturing process

Tobacco culture

The journey begins in Nicaragua, specifically in the regions of Estelí, Managua, and Jalapa. Here, the combination of the fertile soil and the ideal climate produces tobacco leaves of exceptional quality. Every plant is delicately grown, cared for, and picked by hand, capturing the true spirit of craftsmanship.

Drying & fermentation

Once gathered, the tobacco leaves are sorted, grouped and hung in tobacco driers to dry. After this stage, the leaves are fermented in stacks to develop their aromas and flavors.

Sorting & assembly

After fermentation, the tobacco leaves are carefully sorted and categorized based on their quality and their different sizes. Then, Master Torcedores (cigar rollers) choose the finest leaves to form the best combinations of leaves.

Rolling

The tobacco leaves are then manually-rolled by experienced Torcedores, who use their skills to create cigars of uniform shape and size, ensuring that the outer leaf (Capa) is smooth and flawless.

Pressing & aging

Cigars are pressed to ensure that they hold their shape and burn evenly. They are then placed in aging chambers for a minimum of 1 month, where they rest to develop their aromas and complexity.

Packaging & Distribution

Finally, the cigars are individually packed in wooden boxes and labeled, creating a harmonious image. They are then distributed to retailers and cigar enthusiasts around the world.
